Just a few days away until Coach and Olympic wrestler Colin Daynes fights Matt Dwyer for the Battlefield pro welterweight title. Colin has had a great camp and is looking very sharp coming into this fight. He is undefeated in MMA and looks to keep that streak alive this Saturday at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. We want to congratulate our team mates Andre De Silva and Rafael Escobar on their amazing performances last weekend in Battlefield at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Rafael lands a head kick in the 3rd round to shake up his opponent then gets the takedown to finish with a RNC. What a great fight put on by Rafael and Marty Wyse from Team Impact MMA. Andre De Silva wins by Dr. stoppage in between the 2nd and 3rd round. This was a very close contested fight in the co-main event which had everyone on the edge of their seats. With this victory Andre gets another shot at the 145lb title which he previously held but lost via split decision just months ago. 
Good luck to our Jiu Jitsu instructor Nabil Salameh as he goes for the Naga Seattle Championship title! It was a last minute decision but we are off to Seattle tomorrow morning and the competition is Saturday May 18th at the Olympic soccer & Sport centre. Both Nabil and Marlon from Titan MMA will be entering the expert divisions.

James “Party boy” Hanson is scheduled to fight in the co-main event for Kai Singthongs Thaiboxing Challenge. He will be looking to keep his undefeated streak at 5-0 with 2 of those wins by KO and TKO in the first round just last month. James is fighting another undefeated fighter from Eugene Oregon. His opponent, Adam Fugitt trains out of gym Thongsai. They will be fighting for the Pacific Northwest Light Heavyweight Title come March 23rd. We will have tickets for sale at the gym!
We are excited to announce that 2 more Titans will be stepping in the cage next weekend! The current Battlefield 145lb champion Andre De Silva looks to defend his strap in the main event against a very tough Hanz Pangilinan from Franco Kickboxing and Pankration. Rafael Escobar will be making his his first Battlefield appearance after making his MMA debut just 2 months ago at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo Japan. Rafael will face Martie Wyse from Impact MMA in Nanaimo at a weight of 135lbs.

James Hanson fresh off of a first round highlight reel KO victory in Thailand is set to fight Feb 15th at the Fraser view hall in Vancouver BC. James is still undefeated in kickboxing and Muay Thai and looks to keep his winning streak alive as he faces an opponent from Ontario with similar experience. This fight will be full rules Muay Thai with elbows and knee’s allowed. You can bet that James is in phenomenal shape and will put on a show you don’t want to miss!

Nima is booked to fight on Wednesday night and what an experience this will be for him. Nima has only been training Muay Thai for around 5 months with no previous competition experience. It takes a lot of heart and guts to step in the ring and we admire him for being so brave. Win, lose or draw Nima just wanted to experience first hand what fighting in a real event is all about and what better place to do it in then the country of Thailand where the sport originated from. We wish him the best as he makes a memory that will be with him for the rest of his life. Great job Nima we are proud of you and all the best from your team at Titan MMA.
James is booked to fight Friday! This will be James first full Muay Thai rules fight. James is the WKL 174lbs Light Heavyweight provincial and WKL Western Canadian kickboxing Champion. Traveling to Thailand, training at a authentic Muay Thai camp, and fighting in Thailand has always been a life long dream of his. He has been training 6 hours a day at Sumalee Boxing Gym since he arrived there and in just a few short days he gets to fulfill that dream.
